"Package showed up looking like a total disaster"
My box arrived all smashed up like some clown used it as a soccer ball, and everything inside was rattling around. Not exactly the best first impression.

"Tech support felt like talking to a robot"
I ran into an issue with the kit and reached out to tech support hoping for a quick explanation, but it just made things more annoying. The replies felt like canned emails from a robot, and I had to keep repeating stuff I had already explained.
The product might be fine if everything works right away, but if you get stuck, don’t expect much actual help. I ended up wasting more time than I should have and still didn’t feel like anyone really answered my question.

"Didn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped"
It worked fine at first, to be fair, but the parts started feeling cheap quickly. After a short time, they were already showing wear, which was a bit frustrating. I expected it to last longer.

I ordered one item and somehow ended up with something completely different. i was so annoyed I just stared at the package like, how does this even happen? Not the end of the world, but wow, it definitely ruined my excitement...

"Generator connection kept dropping when I needed it most"
I bought this expecting reliable backup power, but the connection kept cutting out whenever I actually needed it. At first I thought it might be a simple setup issue, but it kept happening and became really frustrating. I’ve tried troubleshooting, and at this point I’m escalating the complaint because a backup generator connection should not be this unreliable.

"First impression wasn’t great"
Right out of the box, my first impression wasn’t the best because the kit was missing a few small parts. I was ready to get it installed, but had to stop everything and make another run to the hardware store. Not the end of the world, but definitely made the whole process more annoying than it needed to be

"Didn’t Fit My Panel"
The kit said it was compatible with my panel, but the holes didn’t line up at all. I kept trying to make it work, but nothing lined up right, nothing fit the way it was supposed to, and it just ended up being a waste of time
"Pre-sale help didn’t give me much confidence"
I reached out with a couple of questions before buying the answers were vague. I kind of got the impression they just wanted me to hurry up and choose something on my own, which maybe isn’t fair, but that’s how it felt. For electrical stuff, I really don’t want to guess or make quick assumptions, so I ended up passing and buying from somewhere else.

The interlock kit itself was fine, but man, the panel labels were lousy. They looked cheap, were kind of a pain to read, and a few of them didn’t even line up right. For the price, I expected better than this half-baked mess.

trying to get help with my order was frustrating. Customer service took a long time to reply, and I had to follow up more than once just to get things moving. Not the best experience...

The instructions didn’t line up with my panel at all, so what should’ve been a simple install turned into a lot of guessing and wasted time. I eventually figured it out, but it definitely made me trust the documentation a lot less.

"Shipping was "way" too slow"
I ordered from Interlock Kit and the shipping took a lot longer than I expected. I also didn’t really get many updates, so I was just kind of sitting around wondering what was going on. The product itself might be fine, but the delivery speed was frustrating. I probably wouldn’t order again if I needed something "quick."

"Returning it was way more annoying than it needed to be"
I didn’t expect the return/exchange to be such a whole thing. The kit itself might be fine, but trying to send it back was frustrating. I’d email, wait around, get a vague reply, then have to ask again what the next step was. Even little stuff like which label to use or where exactly to send it felt like pulling teeth. It kind of felt like once my order went through, the support just dropped off. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely more hassle than I wanted to deal with.

i just wasn’t happy with it. The info was kind of confusing, and it ended up taking more effort than I expected. I probably wouldn’t suggest it to a friend since it just wasn’t worth the hassle for me.

"Not reliable, and I’m not sure I trust the costs"
I really needed this to work and it just wasn’t reliable when it mattered. On top of that, something about the pricing felt a little unclear, like there could be extra fees tucked in somewhere. Overall, not a great experience.

I didn’t feel Great about ordering from this site. Some of the info was kind of unclear, and I wasn’t totally sure who I was actually dealing with. Maybe other people had a better experience, but for me, it just didn’t feel trustworthy Enough.

I ordered from interlockkit.com thinking this was going to be one of those straightforward installs, like set aside a little time, follow the directions, and be done with it. But yeah, it didn’t really go that way for me. The instructions just weren’t as clear as I was hoping, and I kept having to stop, reread things, look at the parts again, and basically second-guess what I was doing.
What I thought would be a quick job ended up eating up most of my day, which was frustrating because I had other stuff I wanted to get done. Maybe once it’s installed it works perfectly fine, and I’m not saying the product itself is bad, but the install process was way more of a hassle than I expected.
